One of the noble wines from Italy. Amarone refers to a production method rather than a grape variety or a region. In fact the grapes are called Corvina and Rondinella (sometimes Corvinone is used too) and the wine region is called Valpolicella ( in Veneto). This is one of the fullest body wines made in Italy.
